The Benefits of Membership

   
 

Member
A full Member of the British Lop Pig Society has the responsibilities and privileges to:
• Breed and register pedigree British Lop Pigs as long as his/her membership has been paid in full
• Have a prefix registered by the Society for application to British Lops
• Attend general meetings of the Society and to have one vote on any subject at a meeting of the Society
• Be eligible for election to any office within the Society and to be a member of any committee or sub-committee of the Society
• Receive all circulars, newsletters and similar from the Society

Life Member
A Life Member of the British Lop Pig Society enjoys all the rights and privileges of a Member, as defined above, for the lifetime of the Life Member.

Junior Member
A Junior Member of the British Lop Pig Society is a person who is under 18 years of age on 1st January in any year and enjoys all the rights and privileges of a Member, as defined above, except for the right to vote.

Family Member
Family Members of the British Lop Pig Society enjoy all the rights and privileges of a single member, but with the advantage of two votes. Only one copy of correspondence is sent to the family, all members of which are welcome at meetings.

Associate Member
Associate Membership of the British Lop Pig Society is aimed at those who do not breed pigs, but would like to receive all circulars, newsletters and similar from the Society and to attend meetings, out of a past or future interest of the breed. There is no voting or registration right attached to such membership.
