British Lops at The Stafford County Show

British Lops showing at The Stafford County Show

Were into the show season now and the British Lops have already had some great results but up against the pretty Tamworths and The Large Blacks...did we hold our own?

Below are the places for the British Lops.

In the Sow class there were 6 pigs forward, Goosetree Sunshine 2 came out in 2nd place.

Again 6 pigs forward in the July gilt class and Goosetree Sunshine 5 came out 1st and as if that was not enough, Goosetree Sunshine 4 came out in 3rd -  well done to the Ardens again!

In the Pig of the Year classes, against all the other breeds present, Goosetree duke 2 took reserve Pig of the Year and went on to get reserve Young Pig of the Year

Goosetree sunshine 5 also took a reserve Pig of the Year place

And finally the Lops took 3rd place in the inter-breed pairs class with 11 pairs forward.

What another great show for the British Lops up against all those other breeds.
